Play Detector

Play Detector Overview

FleetScore’s hydraulic Play Detector is designed for light and heavy vehicles, busses, and coaches up to 44,092 lbs axle load. The Play Detector checks steering and suspension systems without jacking, as well as finds worn kingpin bushings, loose tie-rod ends, broken welds, loose fasteners, and other failed components.

Using four hydraulic rams, allowing movement in eight different test directions, the hand control unit is linked by radio to the control system, giving the operator fewer restrictions while using the Play Detector and reducing downtime due to cable damage.

The plate size is 39.4 inches lateral and 32.5 inches longitudinal, providing the possibility to test vehicles with a high variation of wheel bases.

Applications

  • Steering and suspension
  • Finds broken/worn or failed components

Key Benefits

  • Can be used with a 20200 mobile brake tester
