Why FleetScore

FleetScore provides test capabilities for commercial, fleet, and specialty vehicles, as well as end-of-line brake evaluation systems.

FleetScore is a Link Engineering Company PBBT Brand, and our team members are part of an extensive family of LINK companies which have been the trusted provider of brake testing services, brake test equipment, and engineering consulting for the global brake testing industry since 1935. Our test data is cited in dozens of technical papers and the Federal Register 49 CFR Part 571 Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Air Brake Systems; Final Rule.

LINK is also an active partner in the industry, with memberships and participation in working groups and organizations such as the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the American Public Transport Association (APTA), and the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Associations (ATA). With a long-established relationship with federal and state regulatory and safety communities such as the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, our team members are at the forefront of the industry.

We are equipped to serve testing needs at all levels within the transportation industry. Brake system manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, and aftermarket suppliers all rely on our testing services and equipment.

History

LINK Ohio’s facility was originally owned by Radlinski and Associates (RAI), founded by Dick Radlinski in 1993 to provide heavy vehicle testing in East Liberty, Ohio, at the Transportation Research Center.

In 2003, Link Engineering Company purchased RAI, which would later be known as LINK Ohio, and expanded its testing capability to include year-round vehicle testing as well as ISO 17025 accreditation. Operated by Link Engineering Company, the facility became the leader in the testing industry for third-party Commercial Vehicle brake testing, laboratory testing, proving ground testing, and on-highway testing.

In 2021, LINK Ohio officially launched it’s brand FleetScore, paving way for greater focus on the sale and distribution of our PBBT equipment that we’ve been supplying since 2003. FleetScore’s PBBT solutions serve the North American market.
